  46.      Kid's Clicks began as a program for my daughter; Allie.  She enjoyed playing with the program, and so did we.  With a few adjustments from the original version, "Kid's Clicks!" was born.  Kid's Clicks is for fun, for education, for memories, or for anything anyone desires it to be.
  47.      The idea is simple:  You have a picture which you click on to hear sounds play; sounds which are associated with the places on the picture where you click.  Part of the fun is finding all the places where sounds are and all the sounds you can hear.
  48.      Kid's Clicks uses modules.  Complete instructions and ideas for 100 possible modules are included to help you create your own modules.  Includes source code for interested programmers.  Requires System 7 & 256 Colors.  FREEWARE.

  58.      Ghoul Box is a patch that modifies the outstanding shareware and commercial program Jewel Box.  Distributed with permission from Micro Imagineering, this patch transforms Jewel Box into an amusing Halloween treat.  All the jewels are transformed into ghouls!  My wife, Donna, did the artwork and I twiddled with ResEdit and ResCompare to create the patch.  We worked it out so that the ghoul's colors are closely in sync with the colors the jewels were drawn with; to help make the transformation easier to adjust to.  It's good for some laughs and I'm sure you will enjoy it.  If you play Jewel Box and decide you like the game, please be sure and reward Micro Imagineering with your shareware payment.  This patch is FREEWARE.  Jewel Box requires 256 colors and a minimum 13" monitor.

  70.      This source code (THINK C 7.x, w/o Universal Headers) demonstrates a number of things; but primarily, I wanted to write example code to handle the following things:

  73.          ･  Handle the Edit menu, especially Undo
  74.          ･  Handle multiple edit text items in multiple modeless dialogs simultaneously
  75.          ･  Create a modeless version of Show_help,
  76.                 a very useful program, in the public domain from James Walker, which can be incorporated 
  77.                 into any application to provide online Help with styled text and a popup menu for jumping to 
  78.                 selected topics quickly.  Users can also save the text to a file for printing or otherwise 
  79.                 viewing.  This modified version saves the style information as well, for SimpleText.

  86.      This small program is probably not going to catch everyone's interest. It is a very simple utility.  If you aren't using MacApp, or some other type of user interface code generator, I think this program is handy to have around.  You just pop your application's menu resources into Menu Viewer with ResEdit, including submenus, and update the 'MBAR' & 'View' resources; then you can quickly and easily preview how they look and feel by launching Menu Viewer.  FREEWARE.
